Volunteer Criteria

Applicants should:

  • Be a current member of Joule

  • Work in the energy sector or a related supporting services field (e.g. banking, legal, IT)

If you have a specific skill set or idea for how you’d like to contribute that isn’t reflected in a current posting, we welcome you to propose it to a member of the team by sending us an email.

We look forward to connecting with you.

Awards Manager (Volunteer)

The Awards Manager role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Joule’s annual Awards program - one of our most visible and high-impact initiatives.

The Awards Program recognizes outstanding women who are shaping the future of energy and plays a critical role in advancing Joule’s mission of changing the face of energy.

As Awards Manager, you will lead the full lifecycle of the program, from promotion and nominations through evaluation, selection, and winner recognition, ensuring the process is well-run, inclusive, and reflective of Joule’s values. This role requires strong coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across a multi-month program.

The full volunteer role description can be found here.
